OUR MISSION

Established by Sixteen World and curated by Xavier Encinas, the Sixteen Photography Collection is dedicated to preserving and advancing photographic culture through a curated body of work spanning generations, geographies, and genres.

Our mission is to foster dialogue between emerging and established voices, recognizing photography not only as a tool of documentation but as a transformative medium of cultural memory. We collect with long-term vision—prioritizing artistic depth, historical resonance, and future relevance.

Through strategic acquisitions, public programming, and the planned opening of a permanent center in Paris, the Collection serves as a living archive and educational resource for the future of photography.
